INTRODUCE YOURSELF
I am Didier Ambroise, founder of Doshas Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the digital transformation of healthcare stakeholders, and creator of CyberCamp Santé. For over 20 years, I have been assisting healthcare institutions, industrial players, and public institutions in securing their information systems, governing their data, and ensuring their regulatory compliance. At Doshas Consulting, our belief is simple: cybersecurity is not just a technical matter; it is, above all, a matter of trust, culture, and cooperation.
WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF CYBERCAMP SANTE ?
CyberCamp Santé was born in 2020, out of an urgency and a conviction. The urgency: the proliferation of cyberattacks against healthcare institutions – Dax Hospital, Rouen University Hospital, Parisian hospitals – revealed a systemic vulnerability. The conviction: the response had to be collective. From the very first edition, we aimed to create a dialogue space between CIOs, CISOs, caregivers, institutional bodies, and industrial players to share feedback and build a common cybersecurity culture. Since then, the event has established itself as the annual meeting point for healthcare cybersecurity stakeholders, supported by the Agence du Numérique en Santé (Digital Health Agency), France Assos Santé, and numerous public and private partners.
WHAT IS CYBERCAMP SANTE'S AMBITION TODAY IN THE FACE OF RISING CYBER THREATS?
Our ambition is to unite a community of action, not just exchange. Faced with increasingly organized threats, the resilience of the healthcare system depends on our ability to cooperate: among institutions, public authorities, publishers, and patients. Each edition of CyberCamp Santé highlights concrete solutions: crisis feedback, best practices, new regulatory frameworks, and innovations from cybersecurity players. The objective is clear: secure institutions, protect patients, and make cybersecurity a natural component of healthcare quality.
THE NIS2 DIRECTIVE WILL SOON COME INTO FORCE: HOW CAN CYBERCAMP SANTE HELP STAKEHOLDERS ANTICIPATE THIS COMPLIANCE?
The NIS2 directive is a major turning point for cybersecurity in healthcare (Editor's note: still awaiting transposition into national law as of the date of this interview). It imposes new obligations for governance, notification, and control, but above all, increased responsibility for leaders. CyberCamp Santé acts as an acculturation platform: it helps decipher texts, exchange best practices, and share feedback. It is also a place where stakeholders can compare their compliance plans, identify missing resources, and understand how to integrate NIS2 into a global resilience strategy rather than a purely defensive approach.
BEYOND TECHNOLOGY, THE HUMAN FACTOR REMAINS CENTRAL. WHAT ROLE DO TRAINING AND CYBER CULTURE PLAY IN YOUR ACTIONS?
It is at the core of our DNA. From the very first edition, we integrated serious games like MediRisk© to raise awareness among healthcare institutions in a fun and participatory way. Furthermore, at Doshas Consulting, we have conducted several cyber crisis exercises for healthcare institutions and GRADeS (Regional Support Groups for Digital Health). Because no technology can compensate for an unforeseen human error, we make education a lever for protection as much as a lever for trust. Training is about preventing a crisis before it occurs.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO ORGANIZE THIS 5TH EDITION WITHIN TECH 4 HEALTH? WHAT DOES THIS CLOSER TIE SYMBOLIZE?
Tech 4 Health has become the major event for health innovation. By integrating CyberCamp Santé into it, we want to connect two worlds: cybersecurity and innovation. Because there will be no trusted digital health without cybersecurity. This rapprochement symbolizes a collective maturity: that of an ecosystem that no longer separates security from usage, but conceives it as a pillar of quality, continuity of care, and digital sovereignty. It's a great way to open this fifth edition, guided by the theme: "Connect and secure for better care."
