My motivation remains intact because for over 20 years I have been passionate about the contribution of digital technologies to healthcare. From the 1st edition in 2025, I particularly remember the strength of the collective commitment, especially from the members of the scientific committee. We succeeded in creating a true crossroads for exchange where technological innovation meets healthcare stakeholders, with exceptional mobilization from the entire ecosystem (healthcare professionals, patient associations, healthcare institutions, public actors, industrialists, and Healthtech startups). This success, illustrated by the registration dynamics and the quality of exchanges, made me want to continue to firmly establish Tech 4 Health as the essential event for concrete technological innovation solutions for patients and healthcare professionals.
2. 2026 BEGINS WITH NEW CHALLENGES FOR THE HEALTH SECTOR. WHAT ISSUES SEEM TO BE PRIORITIES THIS YEAR FOR CONNECTING, SECURING, AND SUSTAINABLY TRANSFORMING HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS?
The major challenge is to build open and interoperable systems without ever compromising on security and the ethical framework. Of course, I am thinking of the resilience of systems against cyberattacks and compliance with the HDS framework, which are daily concerns for CIOs and healthcare institutions. Finally, sustainable transformation will involve exemplary data governance and the integration of AI at the heart of medical decisions to provide an indispensable framework of trust. Technology will thus reinforce its role as an "ally" for actors in the healthcare ecosystem.
3. THE CENTRAL THEME OF THIS EDITION, "CONNECTING AND SECURING FOR BETTER CARE," IS AT THE HEART OF ALL DISCUSSIONS. HOW DO YOU WISH THIS THEME TO GUIDE THE CHOICES, DEBATES, AND PROGRAMMING OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE?
I want this theme to push us beyond theory to highlight real and concrete use cases. Technology only makes sense if it strengthens the caregiver-patient relationship. The programming, co-constructed with the members of the scientific committee, reflects this daily balance between the necessary openness of data flows and the strengthening of cybersecurity foundations. The objective is to make connection and security the drivers of useful and sustainable digital transformation.
4. THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE BRINGS TOGETHER HIGHLY COMPLEMENTARY EXPERTISE. IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT MAKES THIS DIVERSITY SO STRONG, AND HOW DO YOU INTEND TO ACTIVATE IT TO BUILD A USEFUL, CONCRETE, AND INSPIRING PROGRAM?
The strength of our scientific committee lies in its complementarity and multidisciplinarity: bringing together CIOs, researchers, healthcare professionals, startups, industrialists, and, of course, expert patients. This diversity is essential to guarantee the relevance of the program and avoid silos. We will activate it by co-designing sessions focused on measurable impact in the field, encouraging innovative formats, and mobilizing our respective networks to offer a 360° vision of healthcare challenges.
